April 4th saw the best of Australian music celebrated in spectacular fashion with the 2023 Shure Rolling Stone Australia Awards. WA’s Digital Loop, national agents to The Brag Media and Rolling Stone, brought on board key sponsors including Shure, JMC, Brixton, Canna and Australis Music Group to partner with the awards including bespoke activations on the night plus integrated digital led campaigns across Rolling Stone and the wider Brag Media network, to capitalise on the night.

Tina Arena was honoured with the first-ever Rolling Stone Icon Award, while Budjerah took home Best New Artist. Later in the night, the two also teamed up for a surprise performance of Arena’s 1994 hit “Chains”.

The awards were hosted by podcast and radio star Alex Dyson.

Chris Coufos, MD of Digital Loop, says: “Every year, the Rolling Stone Awards get bigger, so its exciting to work with such an iconic global brand and help bring it to life in interactive ways for brands locally. Its a great example of how we can help local Aussie brands partner with influential global content creators and trusted mastheads to create meaningful brand equity”.
