Totally Her (Evolve Media) represented in Western Australia by Digital Loop, has announced a local version of the giant US parenting site Momtastic.

Mumtastic Australia will be edited by Bronwyn Mandile, who previously freelanced with NewsLifeMedia’s Kidspot.

The site already has a number of key national brands advertising with it including Heinz, First Response and Hasbro Games.

“There’s a big opportunity to work with this site and the many other localised properties across Totally Her and Gorilla Nation now, where we can produce a load of content led campaigns,” said Chris Coufos, MD of Digital Loop.

Coufos said Mandile is looking to expand content-led campaign opportunities and work with brands on some innovative concepts across written content, video and podcasts. The US version of the site reaches over 13m unique users (comScore – Sept) with over 181,000 Australia unique users visiting the US site currently (Nielsen – Sept).

“With the localisation of content and identity for the site, Mumtastic will organically grow in audience size quite quickly.  This has already been evident across our other sites that have been localised recently including Craveonline – which saw a massive jump as soon as local Australian specific content was integrated.

“This gives us another premium environment to utilise as part of the ever increasing scale of our publishers. Evolve Media (Gorilla Nation and Totally Her) lead the way in Australia for operating and representing the world’s biggest and most trusted content sites on the net across a myriad of enthusiast verticals.  Parenting, backed up by Mumtastic, Bubhub and others is an attractive opportunity for many WA marketers wanting to reach out to this premium audience.”
