Digital Loop and Mamamia hosted an exclusive Mia Freedman Client Event last Friday, occupying both upper levels of the Northbridge Brewing Company.

Guests we’re entertained by local music star Lucy Peach before moving to the upper skydeck for an inspiring and insightful presentation by Freedman, founder of what is now Australia’s largest women’s media company.

Talking through the ups and downs of dealing with the initial hardship of launching a new start-up in between managing the everyday challenges that affect most working women, Freedman delivered a warts-and-all account of how she made it, and how Mamamia was developed around the core purpose of helping to make the world a better place for women and girls.

Guests mingled with Freedman before and after the presentation to share stories, take snaps and sign her latest book Work, Strife, Balance.

Digital Loop’s Chris Coufos said the event and Freedman’s visit were a huge success.

“Mia’s presentation allowed clients to connect to the Mamamia brand in a very unique and intimate way allowing for a deeper understanding behind the publisher, their audience and the opportunities that are now available for WA clients – across rich media, content both written and video and their market leading podcast network.”
