Gorilla Nation has announced the acquisition of Urban Geek Media to its stable. The deal includes all Urban Geek entertainment, gaming and sport destinations, including Daily Motion, Cracked, Cheat CC and the UFC.com.
Represented in Western Australia exclusively by Digital Loop, Gorilla Nation is Australia’s leading millennial male enthusiast publisher.
Digital Loop’s Chris Coufos said these sites bolster it’s already strong portfolio, which includes Wikia, Rotten Tomatoes, Music Feeds, Coming Soon and Crave.
“The acquisition has also given Gorilla Nation a significant increase in premium video offerings mainly thanks to Daily Motion – one of the world’s biggest video streaming and entertainment websites. Applying new engaging ad formats, integrating content and delivering rich experiences across mobile is what 2016 is all about and Gorilla Nation can deliver this on all fronts.”
Coufos said the new Gorilla Nation now reaches an Australian audience of 4.5M (UA’s), including over 45M+ Video Streams and 72M page Impressions per month.
